Ingredients
  

Cake Base

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs

Cream Cheese Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Cake Batter:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
    In a large bowl, mix together the strawberry cake mix, milk, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined and smooth. Set aside.

  • Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture:
    In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, melted butter, and powdered sugar until creamy and smooth.

  • Assemble the Cake:
    Pour the strawberry cake batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
    Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter. Do not stir—this will create the "earthquake" effect while baking.
    Sprinkle the white chocolate chips, fresh strawberries, and optional coconut or nuts evenly over the top.

  • Bake the Cake:
    Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set but slightly gooey.
    Let the cake cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
